Report Design for EU Summit
Overview

For three years in a row (2022 - 2024), we’ve designed the flagship policy reports tied to the EU summits on education and culture, led by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC).

These reports don’t just document policy milestones. They’re strategic communications tools landing on desks (and screens) across the EU institutions and national ministries.

Our role was to elevate them from dense institutional documents to clear, accessible publications that still respected EU guidelines. That meant redesigning the structure, visual flow, key messaging, and making sure the layout held up across 60+ pages, multiple languages, and tight timelines.

We also developed tailored visual identities for each edition, in line with the event theme and audience. Think less “policy wallpaper,” more “this deserves to be read.”

Across three consecutive years, the reports we designed were shared widely within the EU institutions and used beyond the summit itself - in stakeholder meetings, internal briefings, and as part of wider outreach efforts tied to the European Year of Youth and the European Year of Skills.

Each edition featured a distinct visual identity tailored to that year’s focus, while still aligning with EU style guidelines. We delivered multilingual versions under tight timelines, with clear structure, accessible layouts, and visual storytelling that made the content easier to navigate - and more likely to be read. The feedback was consistently positive: professional, polished, and much easier to digest than the usual institutional format.
